Steve was always very proud that all the generations of his family were issued with the Diamond Jubilee medal. Steve being awarded his in the prison service, Wayne in the fire service and Gemma being a police officer. He had always spoke to his grandson Alfie about this and this is a fond memory that we all remember. Steve also held the Golden Jubilee, Silver Jubilee and South Atlantic medals, all achievements he was very proud of.
